Gang of 14 Splits

I mentioned the "Gang of 14" in this post, wondering how much horsepower they might be able to muster if the Senate Democrats decided to filibuster Alito. I wish I had read this first: The 14 centrists who averted a...

Democrats busted on Iraq?s WMD

Professor Limbaugh provides us with some American history that includes Tom Daschle: John Kerry, January 23rd, 2003: Without question we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator leading an impressive regime. He presents a particularly grievous...
Alito

F.Y.I. - The Islamic Islamofascist Brotherhood is one of the early and most hard-core Islamofascist groups around.

Iran removes 40 ambassadors, diplomats

Iran's hard-line government said Wednesday it was removing 40 ambassadors and senior diplomats, including supporters of warmer ties with the West, from their posts in a shake-up that comes as the Islamic republic takes a more confrontational international stance.

This of course is under the leadership of their President - who was one of the hostage-takers in 1979, and has a long history with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.

The French Are Revolting.

Now in another sense. For seven days straight young immigrants have been burning houses and buildings. This from Fox News, which up until yesterday was one of the few networks that thought the story newsworthy. The caption readsNov. 3: Riot...
Johnson the Obstructionist

Has Johnson learned nothing? But some Democrats were contemplating just such a move as the 55-year-old Alito began courting senators on the second day of his Supreme Court candidacy. Democratic Sen. Tim Johnson of South Dakota refused to rule out supporting...
