The Killer B's

Lance Berkman just blasted a pitch out to put the 'Stros up 4-2, driving in Biggio and Burke. Goodbye, sloggers. Man, how loud is this contraption that the Astros play in, anyway? Jeesus, it's almost deafening just listening on TV....
The Moonbats vs. The Water Carriers

Oh, this is absolutely delightful: Sheehan thrashing 'war hawk' Hillary. Cindy Sheehan, the so-called "peace mom" on a crusade to end U.S. involvement in the Iraq war, is publicly blasting Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., for her continued support of the...

"...Likely a WWII Airman." Phew! Anything to avoid coming to a simple conclusion based on clear factual evidence, which might set a bad journalistic precedent for the rest of the media.

In fairness, the DC Times is generally a cut above the rest of the MSM - but this is NOT one of their higher moments - maybe that's why it struck my attention.

ANWR

New York Times:The Senate Energy and Commerce Committee approved a measure on Wednesday to open the coastal plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to oil and gas production, moving it an important step closer to becoming official. The committee...
Miers never a Catholic

From NewsMax: The Roman Catholic diocese of Dallas is setting the record straight: Supreme Court nominee Harriet Miers has never been a Catholic. A review of records for such sacraments as baptism, first Eucharist and confirmation found no evidence that...
