Sicily, Italy to be Linked

Here's a brief video clip about a planned bridge between Sicily and the the Italian mainland at the Straits of Messina.

That would be a really cool piece of engineering - the only snag could be the cost, which is of course something of a political football with elections upcoming.

Time will tell.
