My Couch Is Beautiful This Time Of Year
I've got the laptop right here with me on the couch, but I seem much more satisfied just sitting on my ass and watching the Braves (gag me) spank the Astros tonight. It's cool outside. It's October. There's baseball on...
Baby Fish Mouth Is Sweeping The Nation
How's that for an interesting blog heading. For those who can't get enough of Harriet Miers (and who can't) here is a piece by RJ Pestrito that is tough on Miers and Bush, and here is Michael Ledeen telling us...

Agitating the Base

Miers not qualified
From Pat Buchanan: Handed a once-in-a-generation opportunity to return the Supreme Court to constitutionalism, George W. Bush passed over a dozen of the finest jurists of his day ? to name his personal lawyer. In a decision deeply disheartening to...
Bush breaks promise
From Michelle Malkin: A small minority of readers say we should wait and see, trust Bush, and hold out hope that Miers is a stealth candidate. This last line of defense is truly pathetic. We have a Republican House. A...
Cohen Unloads
Today's must read: Richard Cohen's This is the Free Speech Party? If you enjoy watching the Democrats getting beaten around for some of their usual mediocrity, then you'll enjoy this read. Here's a sampler: There are times when I sorely...
