"We are in a global warming emergency state, and these storms are going to become more frequent, more intense," Streisand urgently declares.On the other hand, comes Max Mayfield of the National Hurricane Center, who unambiguously states that the current spate of severe hurricanes is part of a previously noted and still active cycle of high vs low hurricane activity.
