Easy Steps To Moonbat Martyrdom

1.) Stage a "protest." 2.) Willfully ignore the paperwork and permits such a thing requires. 3.) Call the cops fascists and behave like stinking lunatics when they show up to shut you down. 4.) Soak in the fluffy, puffy, glorious...
Galveston

Earlier today I mentioned that the media ought to watch Galveston and look for positives in their evacuation. The reason I did so was simple, really: I didn't think there was any way possible for Galveston to f**k up their...
The Beautiful Revolution Will Hopefully Be Televised

How does the old saying go about wherever the beautiful women are, so too is the revolution? If that's the case, we're winning. The exact wording of the phrase escapes me, and after visiting the link I think you'll see...
Stuck On Stupid

Uh-oh: Kenner Mayor Phil Capitano suspended a top aide, Cedric Floyd, without pay on Wednesday amid an investigation into whether Floyd took more than his fair share of Hurricane Katrina relief supplies from the donation center he supervised. Police said...
Factoid

I was watching my TiVo'd Battlestar Galactica season finale tonight (ep: Pegasus), when something in the opening credits caught my eye. Maybe sort of a subliminal thing, as I couldn't put my finger on why I had to rewind and...
Black/White

Like I said in the post immediately before this one, Thursday nights are my time to relax. So I'm relaxing. And with this post, I'm relaxing a bit on the tight grip I've been trying to keep on the profanity...
Hackity-Hack

Michael Bloomberg: Hack. Campaigning for re-election in an unquestionably liberal city, Mayor Michael Bloomberg has broken with fellow Republicans and opposed President Bush's pick for chief justice of the Supreme Court. Bloomberg said he could not support nominee John Roberts...
German Election Non-results:

Outcome of Vote Still Pending

There's been a fair amount of coverage of this, but the Chief's impression is that it isn't a very high level on the American interest meter.

Daily Demarche comments on this, with some reflections that seem to parallel the above. Since he is from the diplo-world, the Chief thinks that thee is some credibility there. He makes about as much sense out of the situation over there as anyone else could, with some suitable pithy comments comparing the situation to Florida in 2000.

It would be nice to see Schoder lose - but if not, things won't get any worse than they already are. Deutschland uber alles? Nein!
