Thirsty Thursday

I love Thursdays. Not because there's anything special about them, or because super-extra-wonderful things happen on Thursdays, but because it's my very busy day, and because at the end of every Thursday I can relax a little and look forward...
It?s about family values, not racism

Star Parker has another column addressing the situation in New Orleans. Here is her position on the President?s address:I didn't find much in President Bush's Katrina speech that surprised me. His recovery plan carries the characteristic stamp of this administration....

Hopefully it will be the latter, and one also hopes that the Senate GOP will have big enough cojones to make the appointment stick, whether or not it takes the "COnstitutional option" to shut down a filibuster, or whatever...

Time will tell, and this is one the Chief will be watching closely, along with many others from all sides of the political spectrum. On with the show!

The New York Times in decline

From NewsMax: The New York Times Co. said Tuesday it would cut 500 jobs, or about 4 percent of its work force, as part of an ongoing effort to reduce costs. The reductions come atop another 200 jobs that were...
