Universities must root out extremism on campus as part of the war on terror, Ruth Kelly, Education Secretary will say in a speech.Here's a radical new idea from across the pond: universities to actively monitor and crack down on extreme radicalism in order to help in the terror war.
Ms Kelly is expected to tell the organisation's annual conference: "Higher education institutions need to identify and confront unacceptable behaviour on their premises and within their community. "They should be alert and be unafraid to set their own boundaries - within the law and with the law in support - in consultation with their own community and the wider community.
