The New Cronyism (Or Not): Shaw Group Headed By Chairman of Louisiana Democratic Party
Oh, that liberal media. You'd think that the oh-so-earnest Reuters could do a bit better than this: At least two major corporate clients of lobbyist Joe Allbaugh, President Bush's former campaign manager and a former head of the Federal Emergency...
Blame Federalism
Kaus has it about right: Sure, the Bushies are using the federalism issue, and Louisiana's potentially bruised feelings, as an excuse--especially when they talk about how "it would have been perceived" if Bush had seized control of the relief effort...

NASA to Unveil Plans to Send 4 Astronauts to Moon in 2018
NASA briefed senior White House officials Wednesday on its plan to spend $100 billion and the next 12 years building the spacecraft and rockets it needs to put humans back on the Moon by 2018. Jeremy Funk, one of the Hildebrand Boy bloggers, has a habit of bashing John Thune through false connections with other persons. First he participated in the ridiculous accusation that there was some kind of connection between Jeff Gannon and John...
9/11 Anniversary Not Marked At Casa McClaren
It's the fourth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Other, better bloggers are marking the occasion, so you don't need me to do it for you. And do you want to know something? I'm letting the whole commemoration pass. Frankly,...
Bread and Circuses
Ann Althouse has a funny and informative review of yesterday's Roberts hearings. Hat tip to Instapundit. Like him, I think this line is the funniest and pretty much sums up the left's jurisprudence: Or is one of Congress's enumerated powers...
