Tony Blankley on The Terror War

At war with an enemy of an unspoken name

Here's the third installment from Tony Blankley. Check it out, it's as good as the first two excerpts.

The Chief HAS to get this book!

Home Again

I'm home in Nebraska from South Dakota, and am feeling quite cruddy. When you combine not feeling well with a "catch up" day at work (and add in some household chores you've been letting slide), this is not the way...
Conservative vs. Liberal Blogs and Disaster Relief

Here's an interesting tidbit from Bob Williams in the Wall Street Journal:Conservative blogosphere hurricane relief $1,115,369 http://www.truthlaidbear.com/blogleaderboard.php Liberal blogosphere hurricane relief $161,047 http://www.dropcash.com/campaign/hurricanerelief/liberal_blogs_for_hurricane_relief In comparison, the Liberal blogs had raised over $451,888 for Paul Hackett's race in Ohio: http://www.actblue.com/list/hackett...
Flight 93 Memorial to Honor Islam?!

"Crescent of Embrace" Selected Design

Few would protest the appropriateness of a memorial at the site of the crash of United Flight 93 near Shanksville, PA on 9-11. More than a few are apparently appalled, as is the Chief, by the design that was selected:

What in the world possesses some of these people when they do something like this. Here's the group of people featured on this evening's TV special (Discovery ch.) THE FLIGHT THAT FOUGHT BACK, being supposedly honored by a design that effectively creates a large Islamic crescent on the landscape using red-leaved trees.

Are they REALLY so dense as to be oblivious to the reactions to this, or is there some other agenda of uber-political correctness? One has to wonder.

Michelle Malkin
has about as complete a presentation on this as anywhere, with links to other explanatory sites.

A Very Modest Proposal

Former Representative Tim Roemer is suggesting Jimmy Carter take over the New Orleans rebuilding effort. Judging by how ol' President Goofy Tooth operated as president, I am not so sure this is a good idea, unless this is a clever...
Conservatives failing?

Chad Schuldt, the Clear Cut Kidder, thinks conservatives are failing because we have yet to shrink the size of government. Rush Limbaugh has an answer for that:But, you know, the idea that conservatives have taken over the government and the...
The Battle of New Orleans

While the storm rages over just how much the Katrina aftermath will affect George Bush's poll numbers, here are a couple of forward looking stories. First, how many people really died? I was always suspicious of the 10,000 speculation. I...
