SD GOP Proposal to Restrict Convention ParticipationBuffalo roams the battlefield to protect soldiers from mines
...what has been referred to as a "Humvee on steroids," the Buffalo is a 24-ton mine-protective, countermine/IED vehicle with a long grappling arm that faces down bombs, removes them and withstands terrific blasts without harm to its passengers.
Now THAT'S a REAL S.U.V.! Hoooo-rah!Yankee ingenuity at work again! (Or should I say Confederate ingenuity, since the manufacturer is in SC?) These new vehicles are capable of coping with mines, and with roadside IED's. Like in any other war that lasts long enough, changed enemy tactics lead to technological innovation and/or changed equipment and weapoons.
Bill Whittle Rides AgainBy-laws changed proposed for upcoming meeting
THe Chief has recently learned of some proposed by-laws changes for the SD GOP that would have the immediate effect of greatly reducing the possible participation in the state conventions.
This would be a HUGE bad move, unless what is desired is to freeze out grass-roots participation, and keep things neatly bundled up to be run by a would-be elite group. NOT the way to go!
If this were implemented, the Chief would seriously think about affiliating with the Whigs instead of the GOP, to get away from the RINOs once and for all!
