Stop Judicial Tyranny: Jail for Judges!?

Don't like how the court ruled? Sue the judge, group says

The Argus's inimitable Dave Kranz notes an effort to impose some real limitation to what is arguably the unchecked power of the judiciary to do any darned thing that a judge decides to, regardless of plain constitutional and legal language to the contrary.

Calling this effort J.A.I.L. (Judicial Accountability Initiative Law), if one is absolutely convinced that they were the victim of arbitrary judicial abuse by a judge, the law would grant the right to appeal to a special grand jury. If the grand jury agreed, then the judge would be liable for lawsuit. The judge could also be found to be guilty of criminal behavior for failing to uphold the law.

TAKE A LOOK AT THIS SITE as well as THIS ONE TOO! The Chief has been reading "Men in Black" by Mark R. Levin lately, and this may not be a bad idea. Check it out for yourself.

An Air Scamerica Update

Brian Maloney and Michelle Malkin have been publishing a multi-part series of "Inside Air America" pieces that will likely shed new light on some of Err America's past operations. It appears to be a very good bit of investigative blogging,...
Moonbats Win Standing for "Global Warming:"

Federal Judge OKs Global Warming Lawsuit

Although the status of Global Warming, and even more so, the extent of human involvement in causing it is very much in question (in spite of the MSM mantras to the contrary), this judge has declared that envirowacko groups have the unprecedented right to sue companies for "damage" to the plaintiffs caused by projects overseas!

Let's see now. A claim for damages to a moonbat in San Francisco from a project in Sri Lanka, for example, may be grounds for a lawsuit for specific damages to said moonbat.

The Chief sure has trouble tracing the causal chain on THIS one, but then again, for a "progressive" judge, anything goes.

Brits Have the Right Idea

Britain to expel for 'hate' speech

Democratic or not, there is no reason why open sedition has to be accepted, tolerated, or granted acceptance under "free expression". Democracy is NOT a suicide pact. Tony Blair's Britain has figured this out - would it be so that the Administration would finally do the same.

Mr. Clarke itemized a list of "unacceptable behavior" to signal the start of a crackdown that Prime Minister Tony Blair alluded to earlier this month when he said, "Let no one be in any doubt that the rules of the game are changing." The list announced by Mr. Clarke includes any act or speech that: ? Foments, justifies or glorifies terrorist violence. ? Seeks to provoke others to terrorist acts. ? Foments other serious criminal actions or attempts to provoke others to commit serious crimes. ? Fosters hatred that threatens to lead to ethnic violence. Unlike the United States, Britain has no First Amendment and some restrictions on free speech and a free press are enshrined in law. For example, reporters covering public trials are often limited on what they can write or say about court proceedings.

Again, First Amendment or not, there is NO constitutional right to sedition!

Ship 'em out, post-haste!
