Pres. Bush Cuts Latin Aid on Court Issue

Latins Upset at No Free Ride

Three years ago the Bush administration began prodding countries to shield Americans from the fledgling International Criminal Court in The Hague, which was intended to be the first permanent tribunal for prosecuting crimes like genocide.
The United States has since cut aid to some two dozen nations that refused to sign immunity agreements that American officials say are intended to protect American soldiers and policy makers from politically motivated prosecutions.

Israel's Peace Experiment

Settlers in Gaza resist removal

In a day laden with emotion and history, Israeli soldiers began the evacuation of Gaza yesterday by hauling weeping Jewish settlers from their homes and synagogues, defying walls of outraged residents screaming insults and abuse.

The Chief HAS to wonder what the ultimate reaction will be to the current Israeli government when it (almost inevitably) turns out that Gaza becomes a fire base for Hamas, etc. continuing their war against the existance of the Jewish state.

It won't be a pretty picture at all!
