The moonbat left is declaring defeat, and saying that the experiment of democracy in Iraq is failing. The Chief thinks not. To recall some historical perspective it took the USA years to come up with a Consititution after the end of the Revolutionary War.

Neither Rome nor Washington were built in a day - so why should anyone expect a new Baghdad to happen instantly, and without some jostling? Like Bismarck once observed: "People who like sausages and laws shouldn't watch either one being made." Not a bad observation to keep in mind - it might even still apply to us! A couple of articles covering the disclosure that early info on Mohammed Atta's terrorist activities was ignored repeatedly, firstly by the Bubba Clinton administration, and later by the 9-11 Commission itself.

It's worth noting that the Chief's survey of MSM on-line finds almost no mention of this story from the likes of the NYT, WaPo, etc. Bully for Fox News, and the NY Post - at least THEY are reporting on this, along with the blogosphere, and the line-up of talk radio like Hannity, Savage, Limbaugh, et al. One wonders how long it will be before there is any recognition in the major MSM that there was/is a problem with this.

Based on this, the credibility of the Commission is worth zip, but this should be no surprise with Commissioner Jamie Gore-lick being a major player in the intel breakdown during the Clinton era. The fix is in! No wonder there are calls for a new commission reported by the NY Post.

The Russian National Bolshevik Party seems to be rocking the boat over there a bit.

National Bolsheviks? National Socialists? How much difference in meaning is there in those names? Not helping matters, the NB's have adopted the style of the old 3rd Reich flag - with a hammer and sickle in place of the swastika.
