More on Air America scandal

From David Reinhard (note the male ponytail reference at the end): There's, like, a major corporate financial scandal goin' down, dude. Some greed-head wheeler-dealer took almost a million in government funds intended for children and Alzheimer's patients and put the...

Meat demand grows faster than rabbits

Talk about culinary irony -- rabbit meat is in short supply. Despite the critters' proclivity to reproduce, demand for rabbit meat has surged in recent years, and breeders are struggling to supply the many trendy restaurants adding it to their menus.

Also, what about possible egg shortages if there is a short supply of easter bunnies?

"Erin" v. Lefty Blogs

There's a long string at Todd Epp's site where "Erin" takes the lefty blogs on and they respond. There's more back and forth breaking at Mt. Blogmore. Here's some from "Erin": Marie, I?ve been told that some of these boys...

Private Company Plans Tour Around the Moon

Space Adventures, a company based in Arlington, Va., has already sent two tourists into orbit. Today, it is to unveil an agreement with Russian space officials to send two passengers on a voyage lasting 10 to 21 days, depending partly on its itinerary and whether it includes the International Space Station. A roundtrip ticket will cost $100 million. The space-faring tourists will travel with a Russian pilot. They will steer clear of the greater technical challenge of landing on the Moon, instead circling it and returning to Earth.

The Chief has to like this one, big time. Anything that extends our presence in space is a positive - and this will reinforce the moves for NASA to re-extend itself in the direction of lunar basing.

Granted there's not any new technology in this, but what of it? Columbus, and those who came after him didn't use "new technology" either to explore and settle a "new world".
