GOP Wins in Special Election

Ex-Lawmaker Wins Ohio Congressional Race

A Republican former state lawmaker claimed a seat in Congress on Tuesday by narrowly defeating an Iraq war veteran who drew national attention to the race with his military service and a series of harsh attacks on President Bush.

Good news for the GOP here - not so hot for the anti-Bush, anti-war moonbats.

Democrats had viewed the race as a bellwether for 2006, saying even a strong showing by Hackett in such a heavily GOP district would be a good sign for them in the midterm elections. "We began this race way back in late march, and no one had thought we'd be the focus of the national media or be the so-called first test of the Republican Party and the Bush mandate. Well, ladies and gentleman, we passed that test," Schmidt said.

So he did, indeed.

For Those Who Have No Life

Its Ok to be A Communist Spy

It occurs to me that leftists have to be a lot more psychologically complicated that conservatives. They write glowing biographies of Fidel Castro, a man who, after all, imprisoned homosexuals and made them wear funny clothes. Surely that requires some...

Dems values does not include forgiveness

Theron McChesney, one of the four South Dakota Democrat bloggers that went to Ohio, demonstrates his lack of tolerance by attacking the Republicans that had a problem with proper notary approval on absentee ballots last year. He just can?t come...
Murdering Bastards

They won't ever have a chance to do it again. Police swooped down on a posh London neighborhood and traced cell phone calls across Europe to a Rome hide-out Friday, netting the remaining suspects in the failed transit bombings without...
