Best Wishes

I was a bit bummed out when I got home earlier today when I found that the roof had leaked in the heavy rain and wind that we had in this area the other night. But then I put it...

Mexican mercenaries expand base into U.S.

A renegade band of Mexican military deserters, offering $50,000 bounties for the assassination of U.S. law-enforcement officers, has expanded its base of operations into the United States to protect loads of cocaine and marijuana being brought into America by Mexican smugglers, authorities said.

This one is just about too much to think about. All I can say is have a good supply of ammo on hand, because at this rate you'll need it!

By the way, where is General Pershing now that we REALLY need him?

A Literal Slap on the Wrist

So-called "Millenium Bomber" Ahmed Ressam, the man who was arrested with explosives on his way to try to blow up Los Angeles International Airport, was sentenced to a mere 22-years in prison. So I guess we're not really taking this...
Media Coverage of Iraq

Are the media ignoring good news out of Iraq? Perhaps. That's the theme of a some recent columns, one of which evidently has gotten a St. Paul Pioneer Press assistant editor in big trouble. You can read about that story...

Novak On The Perpetual Daschle Campaign

Islamofascists Defacto Repeal of Free Speech

COLUMNIST OFF THE AIR AFTER ABC/DISNEY IS INTIMIDATED BY CAIR

Yesterday Michael Graham wrote in his column: "I take no pleasure in saying it. It pains me to think it. I could very well lose my job in talk radio over admitting it. But it is the plain truth: Islam is a terror organization."

Yowch - talk about not P.C.! This is chutzpah!

And then his fears came true.
Hours after his column appeared here, Graham, a mid-morning talker at WMAL in Washington, D.C., was suspended without pay pending an investigation. Graham's column and previous on-air comments were not the first time he's had a run-in with CAIR.

CAIR seems to act similarly to what an Islamofascist ACLU would do.

"Because of the mix of Islamic theology that ? rightly or wrongly ? is interpreted to promote violence, added to an organizational structure that allows violent radicals to operate openly in Islam's name with impunity, Islam has, sadly, become a terrorist organization. It pains me to say it. But the good news is it doesn't have to stay this way if the vast majority of Muslims who don't support terror will step forward and re-claim their religion."

Too true!

Steven Vincent, journalist, was murdered by thugs. Here's a fitting tribue. Jesus, this news makes me literally sick. What a fine man, and he'll be sorely missed by those of us who admired his desire to see Iraq -- and...
