Media double standard yet again

From WorldNetDaily: The White House implictly welcomed WorldNetDaily's observation that while many pundits and news organizations are focused on U.S. Supreme Court nominee John Roberts' links to the Federalist Society, no such concern was expressed in 1993 about Clinton-choice Ruth...

HELEN THOMAS ANGRY AFTER 'KILL SELF' OVER CHENEY COMMENTS PUBLISHED

In a column this week headlined "Reporter: Cheney's Not Presidential Material," Eisele quoted Thomas as saying "The day Dick Cheney is going to run for president, I'll kill myself. All we need is one more liar."

After watching her fulminate at White House pressers, this is a surprise to anybody with a brain? What's the flap about Henen?

But Thomas said yesterday at the White House that her comments to Eisele were for his ears only. "I'll never talk to a reporter again!" Thomas was overheard saying.

PUHLEEEEZE let it be so!

"We were just talking -- I was ranting -- and he wrote about it. That isn't right. We all say stuff we don't want printed," Thomas said.

Humph. How much respect is there for not printing details of private (even classified) information in the interest of a big story?

"She's obviously very upset about it, but it was a small item -- until Drudge picked it up and broadcast it across the universe," Eisele said. Still, he noted that reporters aren't that happy when the tables are turned. "Nobody has thinner skin than reporters," Eisele said with a laugh.

Truth alert here!

Oh yeah, what's the curdled milk reference about? Try this:

Academic Moonbat: US Army a Bunch of Mercs!

The Best Army We Can Buy

Firstly, a BIG H/T to Blackfive for this one. This NYT OpEd has got to be about the biggest load of crapola that the Chief has seen in quite a while, and that's saying a lot!

Not only is the assertion that we have turned our forces into a bunch of mercenaries patently and plainly WRONG according to a simple dictionary definition, but this educated clueless wonder shows a profound misunderstanding or intentional ignoringsome interesting and important history

Just a bit to illustrate:

What is Your High School Stereotype?

To all who ever doubted that I am a geek, the proof is the result of this test. I am furthest away from stoner. By the way, didn't Bill Murray used to sing a song called Blog Wars on SNL?...
